Coaching Services

My name is Wayne Buxton and I’m an ex-international athlete, having competed for Great Britain and N.I. over the marathon distance and also having ran for the English Cross Country Union.

I offer personalised coaching services to all standards of runners who are wishing to improve their personal bests over any distance from 5k to the marathon. It doesn’t matter if you are aiming just to complete a marathon, improve your park run or wanting to break 30 minutes for 10k, as long as you are committed I am willing to help.

I will put together a long term plan aimed at getting you in the best possible shape for your targeted event.  We will review, refine and agree the plan together and then we can take a structured approach to your training, using this for future reference.

You will receive a weekly schedule which is tailored specifically for you. It is based upon your personal level of fitness, how much time you are willing to commit to training and what other activities are going on in your life.  I use tools such as Garmin Connect and Strava to get feedback from your training sessions. You are also able to phone or email me at any time with questions or to update me with information about how the training is going.

The cost of this service is only £65 per month.
