Today was a good day for Classic Running. Vesa ran 2:51:48 in the Hamburg marathon a huge 8 minute PB for the V40 athlete.
Last year Mark ran his first ever marathon and failed to finish, however, this year he prepared well for London and was very pleased to cross the line in a shade under 3:45.
Tom just wanted to run with his sister, but when your sister runs 3:07:15 you have to be in good shape. So with little marathon preparation Tom did well to lead her home by 83 seconds (sibling rivalry!) Will it be good enough for an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records?
